About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful “Butterfly” lounge chair designed by Pierre Paulin, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950. This eye-catching piece is made of high quality thin tubular chrome plated metal with neck leather upholstery. The narrow frame creates a luxurious style that nicely contrasts to the thick quality leather. Also, the deep black and brown colour of the seat and back work really well with the bright frame. The smart use of shapes and materials creates a sturdy, elegant and comfortable seat that will definitely be a fantastic addition to the interior It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Seating height: 29cm
