About this vintage design furniture
Crystal glass and brass pendant lamp by Orrefors from Sweden, 1950s. Designed by Carl Fagerlund. The lamp is equipped with 3 copper E27 fittings and a brass stem with clear crystal glass around it. The amber gold-colored bowl-shaped glass shade has a beautiful relief. Swedish glass and lighting designer Carl Fagerlund was born in 1915. From 1946 to 1980, he worked as a designer at the venerable Swedish glassworks Orrefors, known for its high-quality crystal and artificial glass. Very good vintage condition – No defects, but it may show slight traces of use

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
