About this vintage design furniture
Designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag in the 1960s as part of the Fineline range, it has nickel-plated metal handles and stands on four brushed steel legs. In excellent condition, having been fully restored in our workshop and finished in Danish oil. 136cm W 54cm D 72cm H

About the designer
John REID
John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
