About this vintage design furniture
Lot of 12 vintage chairs by Wim Rietveld launched in 1953 for the Dutch publisher Gispen. The frame is made of solid round steel. The seat and backrest are made of curved birch plywood. The wood and metal are connected by rubber discs, so that the heads of the screws are never visible. All seats and backrests have been completely renovated in our workshop. 10 pieces without armrests model 116 and 2 pieces with armrests model 216
