About this vintage design furniture
Small size version. Light smoked glass with brass colored metal socket. Very good condition. Also available in large and medium. In the early 60s, Raak produced this extraordinary pendant in 3 different sizes, named according to the logic of their striking design. The shape of the pendant -familiar yet so iconic- refers to the essence and source of electric light: the incandescent light bulb, invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. With museum qualities, the Maxi Bulb seems to act as a protective transparent womb, enhancing the iconic shape of the bulb inside. Whether hung up alone, in a cluster, ranked by size or diffused into the room, possibilities to enlighten diverse areas are endless. Real light addicts can even personalize these pendants by using different bulbs like the old fashioned carbon filament ones. dimensions: height: 28 cm width: 20 cm depth: 20 cm Small: We have 6 identical lamps available.
