About this vintage design furniture
Set of ten 1980s Rud Thygesen and Johnny Madsen King series armchairs in mahogany and leathered seats produced by Botium. This set of chairs, was designed for Fredericia Furniture AS in 1981 as part of the Classic Kings Furniture series, which has been designed since 1969, named such because the Danish King Frederik IX received some of the models as gift when he turned 70 in 1969. The Kings Furniture series has become a true Classic in Danish design. The well crafted chairs with visible joints are in good condition, made of a cherry frame, leathered seats and woven back with a graceful curve on the backrest.
