About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful lounge chair, model F444, designed by Pierre Paulin and manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1960. This is a fantastic chair, made of high quality chrome plated metal holding the thick brown leather seat that “hangs” into the frame. The leather backrest is more tightly attached to the frame, giving it plenty of support while the ergonomic seat creates a real “lounge” experience. This is an iconic piece that combines modernism with comfort, which is iconic for Paulin’s style The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
