About this vintage design furniture
Easy chair by Yrjoo Kukkapuro, Experiment series.Rare easy chair by Yrjoo Kukkapuro from the Experiment series for Avarte, Finland, 1982.The chair was made in a small production run and is therefore hard to find.Chrome tubular frame with black lacquered plywood seats and black leather upholstery.The arms are made of green lacquered curved plywood granny smith.The chair is in perfect condition.The chair will be shipped abroad in a custom made wooden box.

About the designer
Yrjö KUKKAPURO
Yrjö Kukkapuro is a Finnish designer born in 1933. He studied at the Helsinki Institute of Industrial Art and began his career working for the Haimi furniture company in 1959. In 1964, he set up his own design studio, Studio Kukkapuro, where he designed functional and innovative furniture that won several international awards.
