About this vintage design furniture
Iconic Hans Wegner Classic chair manufactured by PP Møbler Denmark 2012 edition. The Round One’ as Wegner referred to it, was designed in 1949 and became one of Wegners most famous designs due a historic television fragment. When John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon met in the first ever, televised election debate in 1960, they sat in the Round Chair. It was chosen mainly for its comfort and genuine quality. Eventually the Americans came up with a new and more telling name for this chair. They called it The Chair. In the period between 1960 and 1968, many of Wegner s prototypes were developed at PP Møbler before going into production at Johannes Hansen and Erik Jørgensen et. This pair of red chairs are an exclusive edition by PP Møbler manufactured in 2012. The frame is made of solid wood and has a woven cane seat. 1 chair stand in an excellent condition the other chair has a small damage on the woven cane.
