About this vintage design furniture
This pendant is part of the Globe series by Frank Ligtelijn, a member of Raak’s design team in the 60s. The Globe series became very successful and characteristic for Raak and is made of high quality smoked glass from the German factory Peill & Putzler. Some traces of use on aluminium cone inside the glass.

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
