About this vintage design furniture
One-off coffee table by the Belgian artist Rogier Vandeweghe, produced his own ceramic workshop located in Bruges in the mid 50s. The hand-formed tiles are finished with a chromium red glaze. The firing of this specific color required a very precise temperature as over-heating would turn the glaze to black. The table has a wooden frame and four 4 black metal legs.
