About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century dining table in teak by Louis van Teeffelen from the 1960s. In a richly toned teak and with a distinctive design provided by the flared legs and bold form of the top. Extends to seat two extra people with a leaf stored neatly under the tabletop. The table has been refurbished but there are some signs of usage on the table top. Length when fully extended 169.5cm

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
