About this vintage design furniture
This set of two chairs, model 4205 was designed by A. B. Madsen and E. Larsen in 1955 and they were produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark. The pieces are made from solid oak and have been re-upholstered in very light grey wool.The wood was sanded down and covered with new oils

Ejnar LARSEN & Aksel BENDER MADSEN
Larsen & Bender Madsen was a Danish design duo consisting of two brothers, active mainly in the 1950s and 1960s. Their work was part of the Danish modernism movement, characterized by simple, functional and elegant design.
