Kokke is known for his work in the design of furniture and functional objects, which combines an artistic approach with a reflection on manufacturing techniques and the use of sustainable materials. He has won numerous awards and distinctions for his work, including the prestigious Dutch Design Award in 2008 for his "Enzo" chair, and the Innovation Award at the Cologne International Furniture Fair in 2015 for his "Slices" table. His creations have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, and are part of the permanent collections of several prestigious institutions, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Kokke continues to work in Rotterdam, where he runs his own design studio and regularly collaborates with furniture and functional object manufacturers to develop new, innovative and sustainable products.
