Piett HEIN

Born in Copenhagen, Hein studied engineering in Germany before becoming a designer and architect. He worked on shipbuilding and industrial design projects before focusing on urban planning.

He is famous for designing the super-ellipse, a geometric shape that combines the properties of the ellipse and the rectangle, and is often used in architecture and design.

Hein also wrote poetry, publishing several collections during his lifetime. He also developed a philosophy called "Grook", a concise form of poetry that reflects Hein's ideas on life and human nature.

Piet Hein received numerous awards and distinctions for his achievements in architecture, design and literature, and his influence is still felt in these fields today.
