Pineapple-shaped candy box, vintage work circa 1970
Glass candy box in the shape of a pineapple. The leaves on the stem are in pewter, forming a case for a candle.
Superb vintage decorative piece.
In very good condition, with a few traces of wear in the eglomisé.
The eglomised glass technique dates back to Antiquity. It consists of fixing a thin sheet of gold or silver under the glass.
