About this vintage design furniture
BUR, Bünte and Remmler, table lamp. model no. 2696. Design around 1930 by Karl Trabert (1858-1910). White stand, steel shaft with wooden handle, white lacquered aluminum shade adjustable in inclination. E27 brass socket. Underside marked "BUR Leuchten".
30s/40s Beautyful details and workmanship.
Shade white coloured metal inside silver. White enameled metal stand. The linkage is horzontally adjustable and the shade, too. The linkage is wood jacketed.
The lamp is in original state. Cables and connector were presumably renewed. Essential in really good state. Little dents on the mounting points of the shade and few tiny enamel chips (see pictures). All functions OK. All together really still nice vintage optics.
In any case beautyful Art Deco lamp, a museum piece that is still in rather good condition and a very rare piece.
Diameter of shade ca. 30cm, hight ca. 40cm
The lamp functions well. But cause of security legal reasons I have to advert that a specialist should check the electric
