About this vintage design furniture
Matthias Demacker : “For this design I was inspired by Origami. I have tried to translate this Japanese art of folding into a piece of furniture with a fragile and elegant appearance this is sturdy enough for daily use.” Matthias Demacker is a German designer who worked for the Origami furniture with paper models, and used aluminum to find the right balance into the actual pieces of furniture. Beautiful German design, the lacquer on the item has aged beautiful and shows its age and pride.
