VINTAGE MODEL 370 TEAK BOOMERANG CHAIR BY ALFRED CHRISTENSEN FOR SLAGELSE MØBELVÆRK, DENMARK '60. THIS MODEL IS KNOWN AS THE BOOMERANG CHAIR BECAUSE OF THE SHAPE OF THE FRAME. THE CHAIR IS MADE OF SOLID TEAK WOOD AND LABELED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE CHAIR HAS A NICE SITTING COMFORT AND CAN BE PERFECTLY COMBINED WITH OTHER CHAIRS OR AS AN OFFICE CHAIR. THE CHAIR IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND HAS BEEN RESTORED ON THE LEFT HANDRAIL.

About the designer
Alfred CHRISTENSEN
Alfred Christensen (1903-1980) was an American industrial designer best known for his work for the Knoll furniture company in the 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
