About this vintage design furniture
A pair of armchairs 406, designed by Alvar Aalto in the 1920 -1949 period for Finnish manufacturer Artek. The armchair is made from birch plywood and natural cotton belt webbing. The wooden structure was refinished and the cotton belt is in completely new off-white colour upholstery. The armchairs are an original example of Scandinavian modern at its finest, carefully restored and reupholstered to live another life. A delicate touch to your vintage, contemporary, mid-century modern or minimalist interior.
