Danish Mid-century Modern Stoneware by Søholm, Denmark 1960s. Set of 6.
Six pieces of gorgeous Danish vintage ceramic from Soholm.
This set consists of:
- Vase no. 3346.
- Vase/jug no. 3352
- Vase no. 3323
- Vase no. 3321
- 2 Candleholders/vases no: 3342
Height: 7 to 25.5 cm
The four vases are designed by Einar Johansen, and the two candleholders by Maria Philippi. Manufactured on the small Danish island of Bornholm, which is famous for its stoneware, due to the rich amount of clay in the underground. All items with the rich signature blue glaze, which Søholm is famous for.
All is signed, and in very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks.

About the designer
Einar JOHANSEN
Einar Hoffmann Johansen (1905-1992) was a Norwegian industrial designer. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s for the Norum company, where he designed numerous products, including televisions and radios.
