About this vintage design furniture
A set of 4 Hans Brattrud, Scandia High back chairs produced by Hove Mobler in Norway in the 1960s. The chairs have undergone light restoration and are in super condition, The chrome frames are also in excellent condition with minor pitting. Makers label still remains.
Overall patination indicative with originality and age.
All chairs are structurally completely sound. The chairs have been thoroughly and very carefully cleaned and polished are ready for immediate use.
Please remember this piece is in original condition, minor wear should be expected. Small visible repair to one of the chairs (see last image)

About the designer
Hans BRATTRUD
Hans Brattrud (1933-1987) was a Norwegian industrial designer best known for his iconic "Scandia" chair. He was born in Kristiansund, Norway, and studied at the National School of Arts and Crafts in Oslo (now the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs).
