About this vintage design furniture
Chair with feet in chromed tubular steel structure, and seat in black synthetic leather, designed by the prominent designer Olivier Mourgue and produced by Metalúrgica da Longra, under the license of the French manufacturer Airborne, in the 1960s.
From the time when Daciano da Costa (1930-2005) started collaborating with Metalúrgica da Longra, this model had a prominent place, at the Exhibition of Metalúrgica da Longra / Airborne, held in 1967, in the great hall of the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes (National Society of Fine Arts), whose space was designed by this Portuguese designer of reference. In original and good vintage condition, one of the chairs as small rips of the cushion area.
