About this vintage design furniture
Superb console sculpture cactus and parrot signed by Alain Chervet is in gilded and oxidized brass, dated 1989. It has an oval tray in thick travertine. The base is in brushed brass, supporting the structure featuring a cactus in brass with a turquoise green patina, topped by a brass parrot sculpture decorated and painted in oil by the artist Arnaldo Montes Pinheiro. The golden, green and yellow colors, the mix of fauna and flora, and the rich patina textures are typical of Alain Chervet's work. This unique piece has been completely cleaned and is in a superb state of preservation.
