Vintage "Utensilo" wall organizer by Ingo Maurer for M Design, Germany 1970s

A lovely plastic wall organizer, designed by Ingo Maurer and manufactured by M Design in Germany around 1970. This wall mounted unit, named the “Utensilo”, is molded from white coloured plastic. It holds many different storage pockets for different kinds of items. It also has a few metal hooks. This design was first presented at the Frankfurt Fair in the late sixties, after which is it quickly became popular all across Europe and the US The versatile piece would make a fantastic addition to the office, decor, children room etc. It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
