About this vintage design furniture
GE290 armchair designed in 1953 by Hans Wegner and produced by Getama, Denmark, 1970s. Solid oak frame in very good condition and original upholstery. The GE290 armchair nicknamed «plank» is one of the designer’s most sought-after and iconic pieces. Its solid oak structure makes it a solid but aesthetically light armchair, the almost horizontal design of the rear legs is one of the signatures of Wegner’s armchairs for Getama.
