About this vintage design furniture
Colorful still life from 1929 in a large gilded frame behind glass - the mat and frame are later. Watercolor, pencil and (probably) tempera on thick, soft (probably) uncoated paper. Approximately 57 cm x 39 cm. Back: printing ink residue ( ) and measurement notes. Very good condition with light age and wear. Artistic style : New Objectivity (Neue Sachlichkeit), Expressive Realism. Artist : Robert Pudlich, 1905 Dortmund - 1962 Düsseldorf, German graphic artist, painter, illustrator and scenographer of the lost generation. Member of the Rhenish Secession.
