About this vintage design furniture
These sleek, practical Dafne folding chairs were designed by Gastone Rinaldi for Thema Italy in 1979. The chairs are made from white-red painted tubular steel and molded plywood. They are labeled with a sticker underneath and a stamp on the metal frame. When folded, they are only 7 cm thick, so they take up very little storage space or can be hung on the wall. The chairs are in almost perfect condition, there is slight damage on the seat of one red chair (on the underside) (see photos).
