About this vintage design furniture
The leather armchair, in an extraordinary grey-brown colour is in very good condition, as is the ottoman. The leather is flawless, the massive wooden backrests in a warm brown tone show minimal signs of wear. There is a minor chip on the back corner of the frame. The backrest of the armchair can be adjusted in inclination via a mechanism. Rosenthal, known as one of the world’s outstanding porcelain manufacturers, decided in the 1970s to have some furniture designed by well-known designers and to market it under the Rosenthal label. This is how some design icons of the 70s came about, including this Hombre collection, designed by Burkhard Vogtherr.
