About this vintage design furniture

A very nice original example of this classic design by Langkilde in good condition, it is made with Santos Rosewood, which has a much nicer grain and colour than Indian Rosewood but is fortunately not listed by CITES so does not need a certificate for exportimport.

About the designer

Svend LANGKILDE

Svend Langkilde was a Danish designer who was born in 1923 and died in 2012. He studied at the Copenhagen School of Design, graduating in 1945. He then worked for the famous Danish design firm Georg Jensen, where he developed skills in jewelry and silverware design.
