About this vintage design furniture
The Dutch designer Martin Visser (1922-2009) designed this SZ19 or "Tanabe" chaise longue in 1970 as a variation of the Nagoya chair, which was made for the Dutch pavilion at the 1970 World's Fair in Osaka, Japan. This Tanabe chair is the swivel variant, made of black full grain leather, in very good condition, recently upholstered. Chrome-plated frame in excellent condition, high comfort thanks to the upholstery, slight tilt angle and swivel mechanism.
