About this vintage design furniture
Ladderax teak dining table The Ladderax folding dining table or desk from the 1960s is made of teak and has a black steel frame underneath. Very compact when folded, the table was designed to fit in a small space or with the corresponding Ladderax unit created simultaneously. British-made, designed by Robert Heal for Ladderax and manufactured by Staples of Cricklewood for in 1964 and sold exclusively at Heals and Harrods in London. The design team of Robert Heal and Staples of Cricklewood continued until the company was sold in 1987. We have Ladderax dining chairs available, please ask if you would also like matching chairs. Robert HEAL
Robert Heal was a British designer who was born in 1932 and died in 2009. He is best known for his work in the 1960s and 1970s as a furniture designer and founder of the British company Heal's, which was founded in 1810 by his great-grandfather.
