Stunning and solid crown vase of brass by Pierre Forsell for Skultuna - Sweden 1950s. This lovely flower vase has eight decorative crown points and is signed with Skultuna 1607 and Pierre Forsells signature. Sweden. Great vase, desk accessorie or just a beauituful collectable item to stylish your home. Good vintage condition and great patina. Measures : 24cmH x ca 8cmD. Pierre Oskar Paul Forsell was born 1925 in Stockholm and died in 2004. He was a Swedish designer, craftsman and silversmith. Forsell worked for Gense in 1952–1964 .He performed works for Skultuna from 1955 to 1986, for example the wall lamps Pendel and Reflex. He also designed sacred art in brass, such as crosses and candlesticks for a number of churches.

About the designer
Pierre FORSELL
Pierre Forsell was a Swedish industrial designer born in 1925 and died in 2004. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career as a designer with Bobergs, a Swedish interior design company. In 1955, he joined the renowned Swedish design company Skultuna Messingsbruk AB as Art Director, where he worked for almost 25 years.
