About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century armchair designed by the Danish designer and furniture maker Helge Sibast (1908-1985) for Sibast in around 1950s. The backrest blends nicely into the armrests. It has been completely checked and reupholstered (see photos). Because of the re-upholstery the condition is very good again. Material: solid teak. Dimensions: h x w x d 72 x 51 x 56 cm. The seat height is 43 cm and the seat depth is 40 cm. Marked: Sibast, made in Denmark.

About the designer
Helge SIBAST
Helge Sibast was a Danish designer born in 1916 and died in 1985. He trained as a cabinetmaker and then worked for the family business, Sibast Furniture, founded in 1908.
