About this vintage design furniture
The De Sede S231 is one of the most sought-after designs of the Swiss manufacturer de Sede since it was presented in a James Bond movie in 1969. The S 231 developed into a design icon. This S231 comes in a very nice whisky coloured leather tone. The soft leather is in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or holes, the braided bands on the sides are flawless and strong. The stainless steel foot is also in a very good condition. Small water streak at the upper corner. The turning and rocking mechanism works perfectly. This model is a special version where the seat height has been increased by 8 cm by extending the base frame. This slightly raised seating position gives an extremely pleasant and comfortable sitting feeling. Investment in design De Sede is one of the oldest manufacturers of high quality armchairs in top design and is known for its high quality craftsmanship.
