Rare pair of 1930s American chairs with small fenestrated backs, restored to their original condition in ivory and black lacquered wood with horsehair fabric-style seat-rack. Designer Paul T. Franckl (see documentation reference on page 235 of the book "30-40 Decorative Art, Taschen edition by Charlotte and Peter Fiel) Documentation also found in the Getty images nursery 1933.
