About this vintage design furniture
This sideboard, model ’Cortina’ was designed by Nils Jonsson for Troeds, in Sweden during the 1960s. It is made from teak and features four drawers in the middle and two sliding doors, with storage space hidden behind. The handles are in wood. It was completly restored.

About the designer
Nils JONSSON
Nils Jonsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. He began his career working for a Swedish furniture manufacturer in the 1950s, where he designed solid wood furniture with clean, modern lines. He then founded his own company, Nils Jonsson Möbelfabrik, in 1958, which became famous for its high-end teak furniture.
