Vintage travertine coffee table

Gorgeous and elegant mid-century modern coffee table in superb condition. The 4 square legs of the Travertine can be positioned any way you like. In the center as we did or in the corners if you prefer. Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, especially hot springs. Travertine often has a fibrous or concentric appearance and comes in white, tan, cream and even rusty varieties. It is formed by a rapid precipitation process of calcium carbonate, often at the mouth of a hot spring or in a limestone cave. In the latter, it can form stalactites, stalagmites and other speleothems. It is frequently used in Italy and elsewhere as a building material. This table will be shipped abroad in two custom-made wooden crates.
