About this vintage design furniture
Rare floating sideboard by Jos De Mey, made by Van Den Berghe Pauvers dated 1961. This build on request sideboard is made in walnut, except for one white formica sliding door. The sideboard has 4 drawers, 2 sliding doors and a cabinet space, detailed with brass door handles. Inside there are 4 hidden drawers. The sideboard comes with the original architectural plan.

About the designer
Jos DE MEY
Jos De Mey was a Belgian designer born in Ghent on January 29, 1928 and died in Bruges on January 2, 2007. He studied architecture and design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, where he also taught for several years.
