About this vintage design furniture
Set of 8 chairs designed by Frantisek Jirak and edited by TON, in Czechoslovakia, about 1960. They are made in walnut and have a beechwood structure. The wooded parts have been restored by a cabinetmaker and the fabric of the foundation was changed late 2018. They are in excellent condition.

About the designer
Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
