About this vintage design furniture
Gispen 201 chair with bakelite armrests designed by W.H. Gispen in the 1930s. This cantilever chair has a tubular frame that is made from one-piece chromed iron. Special about the 201 chair is the lining, which gives the chair a certain visual elasticity. Source: book W.H. Gispen, series of products 1923 – 1960, page 150. Height armrests 70 cm. Seat height 47 cm.
