Pair of vintage teak and oakwood armchairs by Hans Wegner, Denmark 1960

This pair of comfortable lounge chairs, very reminiscent of Hans J. Wegner's "cigar" chairs, was produced in Denmark in the 1960s. The frame is stable and heavy, constructed of solid oak with solid teak arms. The seat and backrest have been recently reupholstered in a high quality Italian fabric in light blue - L' Interno - coll. le Marais L1442.
