About this vintage design furniture
Set of 4 dining chairs designed by Henning Kjærnulf, made of solid oak and upholstery with dark blue wool fabric.
A design where rustic meets modernism design. Soap-treated solid oak with a beautiful grain. Fine condition, small signs of wear consistent with age and use.
Dining table in the same style available, also designed by Kjærnulf. Please contact us for more information.
These chairs were manufactured by Nyrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark. Nyrup Møbelfabrik started production of oak dining room sets in the 30s and again in the 1950s-60s.

About the designer
Henning KJAERNULF
Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
