About this vintage design furniture
This elegant set of eight dining chairs, fully renovated has been acquired in Paris and made by Thonet most likely in the 50s. The chairs come most likely from the Plaza Athénée hotel in Paris, France (last picture).
The chairs have a distinctively elegant and simple design. The chairs are entirely renovated and reupholstered in natural Italian L'Interno wool boucle fabric by Franco Fabbri, which adds an even more stylish look. The wood has been cleaned and freshly varnished with black lacquer, new foams have been added to enhance the comfort of the seating, although the seats are on original coil sprigs. Some differ in the method of mounting the structure and small dimensions.
4 chairs - H: 86 cm / W: 52 cm / D: 59 cm (seat hight: 50 cm / armrest hight: 64 cm)
4 chairs - H: 84 cm / W: 54 cm/ D: 59 cm (seat hight: 50 cm / armrest hight: 64 cm)
