Vintage teak and brass chest of 4 drawers by Leslie Dandy for G-Plan, 1961

A stunning piece of vintage and mid century furniture in a chest of drawers by G plan furniture. The chest consists of four hand crafted drawers with each one having superb dove tail jointing and offering excellent storage, to each of the drawer fronts there are two super stylized brass pull handles with brass back plates, while to the base the cabinet sits on four teak legs with brass end caps with teak cross stretchers running in between. The chest of drawers has been hand crafted by G Plan furniture and has the gold embossed E Gomme logo within the inside of the top drawer, the cabinet comes from their tola range released in 1961 and designed by Leslie Dandy. The cabinet is a stunning and genuine piece of vintage and mid century furniture that looks amazing with a wonderful look and styling that would suit any home or environment Dimensions W 38 Inches D 17 Inches H 31 Inches Condition The chest is in superb condition and has been lovingly restored, sanded back to the original wood then French polished and waxed to help preserve the beautiful colour.
