About this vintage design furniture
A beautiful dining chair designed by Michael Thonet, manufactured by Ligna in Czech around 1970.
The light wooden frame holds a webbing seat. Combined with the elegant shape of the structure this gives the piece a wonderful, classical yet modern style. It’s a dining chair but could also be used as an office chair or eye-catching side chair.
It is marked on the frame underneath the seat, as shown in photos.
This chair remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
