About this vintage design furniture
A unique set of four dining chairs with armrests, manufactured by Thonet in Romania around 1960.
Made of high quality deep brown wood in an elegant design with round seats made of rush in a nice, lighter shade. These eye-catching chairs are nicknamed “Charlie Chaplin”, because they were used in his famous coffee house skits. This is a variant with armrests, which is a rare find. The curved shapes of the design give it a very elegant shape, which will be a fantastic compliment to any dining room!
Sold as a set of 4 – the above price is for the set!
The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
