About this vintage design furniture
This chest of drawers was made in the 1970s. It was designed by the great Danish designer Ib Kofod Larsen. Made in the famous Danish factory Faarup Møbelfabrik.The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. Legs in solid wood stained black, handles in metal. The surface has been refreshed. The chest of drawers is a classic piece of furniture with drawers, perfect for any space. With two large capacity drawers, it will perfectly fulfill its role as a cabinet for documents or toys in the nursery or as a wardrobe in the bedroom.Condition: The surface of the furniture after a refresh. Minor scratches and marks are visible. More significant signs of use are still shown in the photos. Product ready to be used. For safety reasons, furniture may have unscrewed legs for transport. About the designer
Kofod LARSEN
Kofod Larsen was a Danish furniture designer born in 1921 and died in 1991. He began his career as an apprentice cabinetmaker and later studied at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts. He worked for several renowned design companies in Europe before founding his own design firm in 1950.
