About this vintage design furniture
An early Grete Jalk armchair model PJ 56 in teak, Danish 1950’s. Beautiful colour and patina to the teak frame matched perfectly by the terracotta Twill Weave fabric from Kvadrat. The chair has had the old damaged finish removed teak oiled, lightly French polished and waxed to protect and bring out the natural beauty of the grain. The webbing has been replaced with Pirelli webbing and the cushions have been reupholstered with Kvadrat Twill Weave a full bodied woollen fabric with ridge detailed texture, which looks great and feels amazing A fine example of mid century Danish design by Grete Jalk. Lovely shapes and curves to the teak frame and an attractive and comfortable Kvadrat fabric H 94 x W 73 x D 78 cm Seat Height 44 cm
