Vintage Rex folding chair by Niko Kralj, Yugoslavia

The chair, which served generations, is the highlight of Rex, Kralj’s Folding Furniture. To date, more than 2,000,000 have been produced. Niko Kralj’s masterpiece is a combination of comfort, style, and practicality. The backrest and seat are made of curved plywood, which is cut out to allow the wood to bend. The cutouts in the plywood are the reason that the chair is lightweight, airy-looking easily foldable. The chair is in its original condition with minor defects.
